WIZCART SERVICE PROVIDER CODE OF CONDUCT

Effective Date: May 1, 2026

Owner: Wizcart Technologies Incorporated

This Service Provider Code of Conduct is issued by WIZCART TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED, a British Columbia corporation (corporation number BC1541387, incorporated 27 May 2025 under the BC Business Corporations Act) extra-provincially registered to carry on business in Alberta (Alberta corporate access number 2128144090) ("Wizcart", "we", "us", or "our"). Wizcart operates the Wizcart technology marketplace platform in Canada. Public legal notices, operational correspondence, and mailing communications may be sent to Wizcart at 903 8 Ave SW Office - 931, Calgary, AB T2P 0P7, Canada.

This Code describes marketplace participation standards for independent third-party Service Providers. It is not an employee handbook, work rule manual, employer directive, or performance-management policy.

Service Providers are independent third-party businesses or individuals. They are not employees, agents, partners, franchisees, joint venturers, representatives, legal delegates, workers, staff, technicians, or contractors of Wizcart. Wizcart may suspend, restrict, delist, or terminate Platform access for breach of published terms or marketplace standards. Such action is a marketplace-access remedy and does not create an employment, agency, supervisory, or dependent-contractor relationship.

Wizcart provides Platform Services only. Wizcart does not provide, perform, deliver, supervise, control, manage, inspect, guarantee, or warrant the underlying services booked through the Platform ("Provider Services"). Provider Services are offered and performed solely by independent third-party Service Providers. Any agreement for Provider Services is between the User and the selected Service Provider, not Wizcart.

1. Professional Marketplace Participation

  • Present your business, profile, credentials, pricing, availability, and service scope honestly and accurately.

  • Honor booking commitments you accept, or communicate promptly with the User if rescheduling or cancellation is needed.

  • Communicate respectfully and lawfully with Users and Wizcart support.

  • Use your own lawful business judgment, tools, equipment, supplies, methods, personnel, insurance, and licences.

  • Comply with the Service Provider Terms of Use, Acceptable Use and Community Standards, this Code, and applicable law.

2. Customer Premises, Privacy, and Property

  • Do not photograph, audio-record, video-record, livestream, or post a User, premises, possessions, documents, address, or property without the User's express consent through in-Platform messaging, except where required for lawful incident documentation or Platform support.

  • Before-and-after photos for service-completion or dispute documentation are permitted only where the User consents or where reasonably necessary for support or safety documentation, and must not be used for unrelated marketing without separate consent.

  • Do not enter areas of a User's premises that are not reasonably necessary for the Provider Services.

  • Do not access, view, photograph, copy, remove, disclose, or use User documents, devices, keys, personal information, valuables, or private spaces except as expressly necessary for the booked service.

  • Handle User property with reasonable care and do not move, dispose of, alter, or damage any item outside the confirmed service scope.

  • For Junk Removal, do not remove any item unless the User expressly included it in the removal scope.

3. Damage, Injury, Incidents, and Insurance

If you or your personnel cause or become aware of property damage, injury, safety risk, privacy incident, theft allegation, hazardous condition, or other serious incident, you must notify the User promptly, notify Wizcart support through the Platform within twenty-four (24) hours where reasonably possible, preserve relevant evidence, cooperate with support and lawful authorities, and notify your insurer where the incident may give rise to a claim.

For claims arising from Provider Services, the Service Provider's own insurance is primary. Service Providers must maintain valid insurance appropriate to their service category, notify their insurer of incidents or claims, and cooperate with Users, Wizcart, insurers, regulators, and authorities. Wizcart does not provide insurance coverage for Service Provider mistakes, negligence, misconduct, damage, injury, licensing failure, or insurance gaps. Wizcart's insurance, if any, is subject to the terms, conditions, limits, exclusions, deductibles, and determinations of the applicable policy and insurer. Nothing in this document creates a promise that Wizcart will insure, defend, indemnify, or pay for claims arising from Provider Services.

4. Safety and Legal Compliance

  • Do not provide Provider Services while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, fatigue, or any condition that makes performance unsafe.

  • Do not bring weapons to a service location except where lawful and expressly required for a legally regulated service category approved by Wizcart.

  • Use appropriate safety equipment and comply with health, safety, environmental, privacy, consumer-protection, human-rights, municipal, licensing, and tax laws.

  • Where you operate as a business with workers, comply with all applicable Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act employer duties and Alberta Workers' Compensation Board (WCB Alberta) registration requirements where required by law; maintain a current WCB Clearance Letter where required.

  • Do not perform services outside your legal authority, insurance coverage, qualifications, or service scope.

  • Do not ask Users to waive mandatory legal rights or accept unsafe work.

5. Phase 1 Category Standards

Makeup and Hair Service Providers must comply with Alberta personal-services health and safety requirements, including sanitation, infection-control, single-use-tool, sharps, cosmetic-product, and hygiene standards where applicable. Medical procedures, injectables, prescription treatments, or regulated health services are prohibited unless the Service Provider holds all required legal authorizations and the Platform permits the category.

Junk Removal Service Providers must comply with Alberta waste-management, environmental, transportation, and municipal requirements. Hazardous, designated, biomedical, asbestos, lead, radioactive, contaminated, stolen, abandoned, or otherwise regulated materials must not be removed or transported unless the Service Provider holds all required legal authorizations and the Platform permits the category. Disposal must occur only at authorized facilities, and disposal receipts should be retained where appropriate.

6. Privacy and User Information

Use User personal information only for the specific booking, legal compliance, incident handling, or dispute resolution, in compliance with the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act and applicable privacy law. Do not retain, sell, disclose, market to, solicit, or reuse User personal information for unrelated purposes.

7. Non-Discrimination

Service Providers must comply with applicable human-rights and anti-discrimination law, including the Alberta Human Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination in services based on race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, religious beliefs, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, physical disability, mental disability, marital status, family status, source of income, and any other protected characteristic. You may not refuse service, harass, threaten, insult, or treat a User worse because of a protected characteristic. If a legitimate safety, legal, scope, or access issue prevents performance, communicate the issue clearly and without discriminatory conduct.

8. Financial Integrity

  • Do not solicit or accept off-Platform payment for a Platform-booked Provider Service.

  • Do not hide fees, misstate prices, manipulate taxes, misrepresent cancellation charges, or add charges not confirmed through the Platform.

  • Maintain your Stripe or other connected payout account in good standing and keep banking and tax information current.

  • Monitor your own GST/HST and other tax obligations across all income sources.

9. Reviews, Content, and Marketing

Do not post fake reviews, self-reviews, undisclosed incentivized reviews, coordinated review-ring content, misleading before-and-after images, infringing content, or undisclosed paid/sponsored promotional content. Any incentive or sponsorship for a review or endorsement must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed, consistent with the Competition Act and Competition Bureau guidance on testimonials and influencer marketing.

10. Marketplace-Access Remedies

Violation of this Code may result in marketplace-access remedies under the Service Provider Terms of Use, including warning, content removal, payout hold where legally permitted, suspension, restriction, delisting, cancellation of future bookings, or deactivation. These are contractual marketplace remedies, not employment discipline.
