Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Owner: Wizcart Technologies Incorporated
This Account Deletion and Data Retention Policy is issued by WIZCART TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED, a British Columbia corporation (corporation number BC1541387, incorporated 27 May 2025 under the BC Business Corporations Act) extra-provincially registered to carry on business in Alberta (Alberta corporate access number 2128144090) ("Wizcart", "we", "us", or "our"). Wizcart operates the Wizcart technology marketplace platform in Canada. Public legal notices, operational correspondence, and mailing communications may be sent to Wizcart at 903 8 Ave SW Office - 931, Calgary, AB T2P 0P7, Canada.
This Policy explains how you may request account deletion and how Wizcart handles retention, deletion, anonymization, and legal holds. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
Use the Delete My Account feature in account settings where available; or
Email privacy@wizcart.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered name and email address.
Wizcart will verify your identity before processing a deletion request. Verified requests will generally be processed within thirty (30) days unless a longer period is permitted or required by law. During processing, Wizcart may deactivate the account or restrict visibility where practical.
Subject to legal, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, chargeback, tax, and operational retention requirements, Wizcart will delete, anonymize, or de-identify personal information no longer required for an identified purpose, such as profile information, preferences, certain device identifiers, certain analytics linked to your account, and certain messages or content not required for legal or operational reasons.
Wizcart retains certain categories of information beyond account deletion to meet legal, tax, accounting, audit, fraud-prevention, safety, and litigation-defence obligations. Standard retention categories are set out in the Retention Categories table at the end of this Policy.
Account deletion may be delayed, limited, or processed in stages where there are pending bookings, unresolved disputes, chargebacks, refunds, payouts, amounts owed, fraud or safety reviews, tax/accounting obligations including Part XX Reportable Seller retention obligations, regulator requests, litigation holds, or other legal obligations. Wizcart will notify you where an outstanding issue prevents completion of deletion.
Your public listing and profile may be removed or deactivated.
Future bookings may be cancelled where necessary and Users may be shown a pre-filtered list of alternate available Service Providers. The Platform does not assign a replacement without the User's selection.
Pending payouts, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and account balances remain subject to the applicable Terms and payment-service-provider rules.
Licensing, insurance, tax, background-verification, Part XX Reportable Seller, and compliance records may be retained as described in the Retention Categories table.
Account deletion on Wizcart does not automatically delete information held by third parties such as Stripe, app stores, communications providers, analytics providers, verification providers, or regulators. Those parties may retain information under their own legal obligations and policies. Wizcart will direct deletion requests to vendors where required and reasonably possible.
You may request access, correction, deletion, portability where available, and information about retention by emailing privacy@wizcart.com. If you are not satisfied with Wizcart's response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta as the primary commissioner for Alberta-resident personal information, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. British Columbia residents may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
