Owner: Wizcart Technologies Incorporated
This Privacy Policy is issued by WIZCART TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED, a British Columbia corporation (corporation number BC1541387, incorporated 27 May 2025 under the BC Business Corporations Act) extra-provincially registered to carry on business in Alberta (Alberta corporate access number 2128144090) ("Wizcart", "we", "us", or "our"). Wizcart operates the Wizcart technology marketplace platform in Canada. Public legal notices, operational correspondence, and mailing communications may be sent to Wizcart at 903 8 Ave SW Office - 931, Calgary, AB T2P 0P7, Canada.
This Privacy Policy explains how Wizcart collects, uses, discloses, stores, protects, and retains personal information in connection with the Platform. Wizcart is accountable for personal information under its control and has designated a Privacy Officer for privacy compliance. This Privacy Policy is governed by the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and other applicable Canadian privacy law.
Wizcart provides Platform Services only. Wizcart does not provide, perform, deliver, supervise, control, manage, inspect, guarantee, or warrant the underlying services booked through the Platform ("Provider Services"). Provider Services are offered and performed solely by independent third-party Service Providers. Any agreement for Provider Services is between the User and the selected Service Provider, not Wizcart.
Privacy references to Service Providers mean independent third-party Service Providers, not Wizcart employees, agents, or representatives. Users select Service Providers, and only information reasonably necessary for a booking or Platform function is shared between transaction counterparties. Wizcart employee personal information is governed by separate internal employee privacy notices, not by this Policy.
Privacy Officer: Rashmi Singh, or another person designated in writing by Wizcart from time to time. Privacy contact: privacy@wizcart.com. The Privacy Officer is responsible for Wizcart's compliance with the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act and PIPEDA.

Commercial electronic messages are handled under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Marketing emails and SMS messages will identify the sender, include contact information, and include an unsubscribe mechanism, such as replying STOP for SMS, where required by law. Wizcart will give effect to unsubscribe requests without delay and within ten (10) business days. If Wizcart conducts telemarketing calls or faxes, those activities may also be subject to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission's Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules and the National Do Not Call List, where required by law.
Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies are described in the Cookie and Tracking Policy. You may manage non-essential cookies through the cookie settings tool where available, browser settings, device permissions, advertising settings, and mobile operating-system controls.
Wizcart retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes identified in this Policy, to operate the Platform, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with tax/accounting/legal obligations including Part XX retention obligations under the Income Tax Act, enforce agreements, maintain safety records, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. Information may be anonymized or aggregated for analytics where it no longer identifies an individual. Detailed retention categories are described in the Account Deletion and Data Retention Policy.
Wizcart uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, logging, monitoring, secure development practices, and workforce confidentiality obligations. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for protecting your credentials.
If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, Wizcart will notify affected individuals and report to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta as the primary commissioner for Alberta-resident personal information, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required under PIPEDA, and to other relevant provincial privacy commissioners where applicable, as soon as feasible and in accordance with applicable law. Wizcart retains records of every breach of security safeguards for at least twenty-four (24) months after determining that the breach occurred.
Subject to legal limits, you may request access to personal information Wizcart holds about you, correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, withdrawal of consent, account deletion, data portability where available, and information about Wizcart's privacy practices. Submit requests to privacy@wizcart.com. Wizcart will verify your identity before responding and will respond to your privacy request within 30 days of receiving it (45 days for access requests where the request is complex or voluminous, with notice provided). Extensions beyond these timeframes are only permitted as set out in applicable privacy law.
If you are not satisfied with Wizcart's response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta as the primary commissioner for Alberta-resident personal information, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. British Columbia residents may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
The Platform is intended for Users and Service Providers who are at least eighteen (18) years old. Wizcart does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to Wizcart, contact privacy@wizcart.com so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
Wizcart may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, email, or other reasonable means at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect, and consent will be obtained where required by law.
