This Revenue Share Policy is issued by WIZCART TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED, a British Columbia corporation (corporation number BC1541387, incorporated 27 May 2025 under the BC Business Corporations Act) extra-provincially registered to carry on business in Alberta (Alberta corporate access number 2128144090) ("Wizcart", "we", "us", or "our"). Wizcart operates the Wizcart technology marketplace platform in Canada. Public legal notices, operational correspondence, and mailing communications may be sent to Wizcart at 903 8 Ave SW Office - 931, Calgary, AB T2P 0P7, Canada.
This Policy explains the standard commercial revenue-share arrangement for Provider Services booked through the Platform. It is incorporated into the Service Provider Terms of Use.
Wizcart provides Platform Services only. Wizcart does not provide, perform, deliver, supervise, control, manage, inspect, guarantee, or warrant the underlying services booked through the Platform ("Provider Services"). Provider Services are offered and performed solely by independent third-party Service Providers. Any agreement for Provider Services is between the User and the selected Service Provider, not Wizcart.
Service Providers are independent third-party businesses or individuals. They are not employees, agents, partners, franchisees, joint venturers, representatives, legal delegates, workers, staff, technicians, or contractors of Wizcart. Wizcart may suspend, restrict, delist, or terminate Platform access for breach of published terms or marketplace standards. Such action is a marketplace-access remedy and does not create an employment, agency, supervisory, or dependent-contractor relationship.
Unless a written program-specific term states otherwise, Service Providers retain eighty-eight percent (88%) of the service price before applicable taxes, and Wizcart retains twelve percent (12%) as a platform commission. The commission is consideration for Platform Services, marketplace access, payment facilitation, support infrastructure, and administration. It is not a wage deduction, payroll deduction, employment fee, or employee discipline.
A minimum platform commission of CAD $3.00 may apply per completed transaction. Where 12% of the service price is less than CAD $3.00, Wizcart may retain CAD $3.00 and the Service Provider receives the remainder, subject to applicable law and displayed payout statements.
Wizcart charges Users a customer-side order-processing fee of five percent (5%) on the applicable order cost. For this Policy, "applicable order cost" means the Provider Services price stated in the booking flow before any Wizcart order-processing fee and before applicable taxes. This fee is charged to the User, disclosed at checkout, subject to applicable tax, and not deducted from the Service Provider's service price. The order-processing fee continues to apply even where a Service Provider receives a provider-side zero-commission or discounted-commission offer, unless a written Wizcart program term expressly states otherwise.
Payouts are processed by Stripe or another payment service provider. Third-party payout fees, such as Stripe payout fees, may be deducted from the Service Provider's payout. These are third-party fees and are not retained by Wizcart.
Where a User cancellation fee is collected under the Cancellation and Refund Policy, the cancellation fee is generally shared using the same standard provider-side revenue-share arrangement unless a service-category cap, promotion, refund decision, law, chargeback rule, or written program term states otherwise.
Tips: Tips paid through the Platform are paid to the Service Provider at 100%, except for third-party processing, chargeback, tax, or legal deductions where applicable.
Referral rewards: Referral rewards are paid according to the applicable referral program terms and are not subject to the standard 12% platform commission unless the referral terms state otherwise.
Brand Ambassador and Lighthouse VIP programs: Zero-commission references apply to the provider-side Layer 1 platform commission only. The customer-side 5% order-processing fee continues to apply unless the written program terms state otherwise.
Order Milestone Bonuses and Weekly Streak Bonuses: These are optional, campaign-selectable programs. Wizcart may run one, both, neither, or modified versions depending on approved budget, eligibility gates, and published program terms.
Urgent-dispatch bonuses: If offered, the bonus amount and eligibility rules are disclosed in the Provider dashboard or booking flow at the time the urgent order is offered.
Aggregate bonus, referral, milestone, and streak payouts are subject to Wizcart's published global monthly incentive cap. Wizcart may pro-rate or defer individual bonus payouts to remain within the cap, consistent with published program terms.
Service Providers are solely responsible for income tax, GST/HST (and PST/QST in provinces where applicable) registration and remittance, tax filings, business expenses, and professional tax advice. Wizcart may collect, display, or facilitate taxes where required by law or Platform configuration, but Service Providers remain responsible for their own tax compliance except where Wizcart has a non-waivable legal obligation.
Wizcart's GST/HST registration: WIZCART TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED is registered for GST/HST under Business Number 757909163 RT0001, effective May 1, 2026. Wizcart's order-processing fee and applicable GST are shown as separate line items on receipts and statements to support Input Tax Credit claims by business customers where eligible.
Place of supply: For Provider Services performed in Alberta, GST applies at 5%. For Provider Services performed in other provinces (when Wizcart expands), the applicable GST or HST rate is determined under the Excise Tax Act and GST/HST Place of Supply Regulations based on the location where the Provider Services are performed.
Part XX reporting: As a Reporting Platform Operator under Part XX of the Income Tax Act (Canada), Wizcart collects and verifies Reportable Seller information and reports annually to the Canada Revenue Agency by 31 January of each year for the preceding calendar year. Service Providers are responsible for ensuring the tax information they provide to Wizcart is accurate and current. See the Service Provider Terms of Use Section 6 for additional Part XX details.
The Provider dashboard or payout statements may show gross service price, Wizcart commission, third-party payout fee, applicable taxes, refunds, chargebacks, bonuses, tips, and net payout. Service Providers must report suspected payout errors promptly and within the timeframe stated in the Service Provider Terms of Use.
Material changes to commission rates, minimum commission, order-processing fees, payout terms, or bonus program economics will be communicated in accordance with the Service Provider Terms of Use. Program offers may be paused, ended, replaced, or modified according to their published terms and approved budgets.
